In 2000 I moved to London from my home country, the United States and seized the opportunity to take a break from my career in business to study Interior and Spatial Design at Chelsea College of Art.
I subsequently worked on a number of commercial projects establishing a residential development business in the US and launching Hey Mambo, a design led wine bar and restaurant in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In 2007, I returned to Chelsea to teach and today co lead a studio on the Bachelor’s Degree in Spatial and Interior Design. My work in both the academic and commercial realm influence and enhance my practice in each area.
I view every project as an opportunity for a unique journey. It is through engagement with my client, development through the design process and thoughtful curation that very individual projects are realized.
